Removing subluxations and optimizing the communication of the nervous system will allow for the body to heal itself more efficiently. As a result, chiropractors get great results helping people resolve issues such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, jaw pain, dizziness, vertigo, Meniere’s disease, shoulder pain, numbness, and tingling, sciatica, knee pain, bulging discs, etc.
Are chiropractic treatments safe?
Chiropractic treatment is safe and effective. Chiropractors have the lowest malpractice insurance of any health care provider, which suggests the chances of injury to be really low. Some patients can experience some soreness after aftercare, but it is similar to muscle soreness after a tough workout.
Do insurance plans cover chiropractic?
Yes. However, health insurance benefits are all dependent on the specifics of one’s policy. We can check benefits after the initial visit. We also work with auto insurance after one experiences a car accident.

Are chiropractors doctors?
Yes. Chiropractors go through a doctorate program. Education is similar to medical, chiropractors will get more education on biomechanics, nutrition, and spinal adjusting whereas in medical school the emphasis is on pharmacology and surgery.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is a specific correction to the spine and/or extremities that will remove stress from the nervous system. Allowing the body to function better will allow the body to heal and feel better. Chiropractic adjustments can be performed by hand or machine. Adjustments are extremely safe and effective.
Can I see a chiropractor if I am pregnant?
Yes, seeing a chiropractor is one of the best things you can do for yourself if you are pregnant. Chiropractors can help manage your pain without the use of drugs, balance out your hips/pelvis to encourage movement for the baby, and allow for an easier passageway for the baby when it is time for labor.
Do children need chiropractic care?
Children as young as newborns can benefit from chiropractic care. You don’t have to be in pain to see a chiropractor since the goal is to remove interference on the nervous system through chiropractic adjustments.
Can you check my insurance before my first visit?
Unfortunately, we won’t check your insurance benefits before your first visit with us. If you want to know your chiropractic benefits before coming in, you can reach out to your insurance carrier to find out.
Do we work with pregnant women and kids?
Yes, Dr. Palmes work’s with pregnant women and kids. He is Webster certified (a process and approach to treating pregnant women to balance out the pelvis) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.
How long has the practice been here?
Dr. Palmes has been in practice for well over 10 plus years now, working in well-established practices in the past. He started Best Life Chiropractic in 2018.
Do you have massage therapy in the office?
No.
Will I need to go to the chiropractor forever?
Not necessarily. Many people benefit from going to a chiropractor and they want to continue getting those benefits from chiropractic care, just like someone who goes to the gym continues working out because they benefit from going to the gym.
