What are the conditions we work with?

What conditions do chiropractors treat?
Chiropractors treat a condition called vertebral subluxations, areas in the spine that cause interference on the body’s nervous system. Removing subluxations and optimizing the communication of the nervous system will allow for the body to heal itself more efficiently. As a result, chiropractors get great results helping people resolve issues such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, migraines, jaw pain, dizziness, vertigo, Meniere’s disease, shoulder pain, numbness, and tingling, sciatica, knee pain, bulging discs, etc.
Are chiropractic treatments safe?
Chiropractic treatment is safe and effective. Chiropractors have the lowest malpractice insurance of any health care provider, which suggests the chances of injury to be really low. Some patients can experience some soreness after aftercare, but it is similar to muscle soreness after a tough workout.
Do insurance plans cover chiropractic?
Yes. However, health insurance benefits are all dependent on the specifics of one’s policy. We can check benefits after the initial visit. We also work with auto insurance after one experiences a car accident.
What is chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is a health care approach that works with the body’s innate ability to heal. Removing interference and stress on the nervous system will allow the body to heal more efficiently and function better. As a result, people heal better, feel better and live their best.
Are chiropractors doctors?
Yes. Chiropractors go through a doctorate program. Education is similar to medical, chiropractors will get more education on biomechanics, nutrition, and spinal adjusting whereas in medical school the emphasis is on pharmacology and surgery.
What is a chiropractic adjustment?
A chiropractic adjustment is a specific correction to the spine and/or extremities that will remove stress from the nervous system. Allowing the body to function better will allow the body to heal and feel better. Chiropractic adjustments can be performed by hand or machine. Adjustments are extremely safe and effective.
